The Magnificent Mile Race Sunday, September 18, 2 pm 300 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh |
The Magnificent Mile Race will celebrate its 6th anniversary this year. This event raises funds for research into rare motor neuron diseases, specifically Primary Lateral Sclerosis and Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. There
are three primary components -- the competitive mile, which is the NC-USATF state championship race
for this distance; the recreational mile for those who prefer to jog or walk; and two kids' races.
Entertainment, excellent door prizes, and great food from The Q Shack are also part of what is always
a fun afternoon.

5th Annual Southeastern Classic Golf Tournament
Monday, September 26th, 2011
The 5th Annual Southeastern Classic Benefit Golf Tournament will be held Monday, September 26th, 2011, at the prestigious TPC at Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, North Carolina. The sponsors and golfers in the first four years of this event have contributed net proceeds of nearly $115,000 to help Southeastern equip students to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission. |
